Join the Green Party Trade Union Group (GPTU) for our Green Party Conference fringe event - Workers and the Climate Emergency.
Motion D01 - "winning over workers is crucial to fighting climate change" - is at the top of the D Section of the Agenda at Spring Conference.
We invite all conference attendees to join us on Saturday 27th February at 10am, to explore the meaning behind the motion. What would it take to engage workers, not just as supporters but also as active participants in the climate justice movement? What role can the Green Party play?
We will hear from a panel of trade unionists, followed by a Q&A.
Panellists include:
Sarah Woolley, General Secretary of the BFAWU
Sam Mason, National Officer at PCS

Kefentse Dennis, Green Party Trade Union Liaison Officer
