Jim Scott (Green Left Wales & GPTU) reports"Paul and Sue won their case (as did Jason and Jacqueline) but that the court had split up the cases in a very unfair way and that it was a shock that the case over a victim of domestic violence was lost. Also she said that the Court had cited the "discretionary payments" that Councils can give to claimants and used them as a get out clause to not rule in other people's favour, despite the fact that in reality when people apply to their councils for these "discretionary payments" usually the council just says "no there's no money", Austerity etc...! (Ba***rds!)
