Next branch meeting
Tuesday April 5th 2016 - 2pm - 4pm
This will also be the Annual General Meeting and we shall be electing officers and committee as well as discussing our motion to UCU Annual Congress
Meetings take place in the union office in Carlow Street NW1 7LH, nearest tube Mornington Crescent.
So far I have received notice of 3 motions, on
- Academic Freedom in Turkey,
- Personal Independence Payments (PIP) for disabled people
- Climate Change
It was also agreed at the last meeting that we shall have a discussion on the subject of the EU referendum. Please let me know of any other matters you wish to raise.
I have received some nominations for branch officers, you can let me have any other nominations by email or at the meeting. Please also consider serving on the committee.
All retired academic staff are welcome (as well as those about to retire).
